2026 Honda City Facelift: New Tech and Refined Style for India’s Favorite Sedan

Overview

Honda Cars India has confirmed the launch of the 2026 City Facelift on May 22, aimed at keeping the sedan competitive against the Skoda Slavia and Hyundai Verna.

The update features a redesigned front grille, sharper LED headlight graphics, and new multi-spoke alloy wheels to enhance its premium road presence.

A major interior addition is the 360-degree camera system, filling a key gap in its feature list, alongside new upholstery and updated trim inserts.

The powertrain remains unchanged: the reliable 121 PS 1.5L i-VTEC petrol and the ultra-efficient 126 PS e:HEV hybrid engine.

Safety is a priority, with the Honda Sensing ADAS suite now expected to be even more refined for Indian road conditions.
