Mahindra XUV.e8 (Electric XUV700): Expected Price, Range & 2026 Launch

Overview

Mahindra is poised to lead the premium electric vehicle market with the XUV.e8, the all-electric iteration of the hugely popular XUV700.

Having been spotted testing across India, the XUV.e8 maintains the bold profile of its internal combustion engine (ICE) counterpart, featuring a sleek closed grille, a full-width LED light strip, and aerodynamic alloy wheels.

Inside, the cabin is a haven for technology enthusiasts, featuring an impressive triple-screen arrangement that spans the dashboard, incorporating AI-enhanced advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and state-of-the-art connectivity tech.

Built on Mahindra's innovative INGLO skateboard platform, the vehicle is expected to come equipped with a substantial 80 kWh battery, available in both Rear-Wheel Drive (RWD) and high-performance All-Wheel Drive (AWD) variants.

With aggressive pricing aimed at undercutting luxury electric vehicles, the XUV.e8 is set to compete directly with the Tata Harrier EV and the BYD Atto 3 when it arrives in showrooms later this year.
