Tata Harrier EV AWD: The Ultimate Electric SUV Arrives Next Month

Overview

The electric SUV scene is on the brink of a major transformation. Tata Motors has officially announced that the eagerly awaited Harrier EV will arrive in Indian dealerships by late May 2026.

Built on Tata’s advanced Acti.ev platform, the Harrier EV keeps the bold and muscular presence of its diesel version, while introducing modern elements such as a closed front grille, streamlined alloy wheels, and full-width LED light strips at both ends.

A key highlight is the launch of a dual-motor All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system, marking it as Tata's first electric vehicle with authentic off-road capabilities. The sizable 60+ kWh battery is projected to provide a real-world range comfortably exceeding 450 km.

Inside, features reach new heights with a state-of-the-art 12.3-inch infotainment display, the Arcade.ev app suite, a panoramic sunroof, and Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology, enabling you to power external devices directly from the vehicle.

With a starting price estimated around ₹24 Lakh, the Harrier EV is poised to significantly challenge luxury electric SUVs while competing against models like the Mahindra XUV.e8 and BYD Atto 3.
