Volkswagen India has unveiled the eagerly awaited mid-cycle facelift for the Taigun SUV as of April 9, 2026, featuring substantial enhancements in both mechanics and tech.
A major highlight is the newly introduced 8-speed torque converter automatic transmission for the 1.0L TSI engine, which replaces the older 6-speed model, promising improved highway performance and better fuel efficiency.
On the exterior, the Taigun boasts a more aggressive front design with an illuminated VW badge, redesigned matrix LED headlights, and a fresh set of 17-inch aero-style alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin has received significant upgrades, including Level 2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and premium soft-touch materials on the dashboard, enhancing its upscale feel.
