Overview

The 2026 Yamaha R3 has arrived in India this week, eager to reclaim its title from the Kawasaki Ninja 500 and Aprilia RS 457.

This updated version showcases a more aerodynamic fairing along with stylish LED projectors that draw inspiration from its larger sibling, the R1.

For the first time in the Indian market, the R3 offers a quickshifter as an optional feature and boasts a full-color TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity.

The 321cc engine largely retains its design but has been enhanced for improved heat management, a vital upgrade for the hot Indian climate.
